“Sometimes deeper mental clarity is preceded by great internal storms” | yung pueblo inward (p 20)
For years, I struggled with the decision to leave a toxic relationship, despite having three young children and working to establish a career. I knew our life was filled with risk, negativity, and fear, but I was trapped in a series of internal storms and conflicting thoughts: “Would my children resent me for separating them from their father? Or, Would they hate me for allowing our suffering to continue through inaction?” These internal storms raged on for far too long.
A pivotal event finally provided the catalyst I needed to break free from this tempest of indecision. I realized my fear of independence paled in comparison to the importance of ensuring safety for myself and my children. This realization spurred me into action. I deliberately carved out time to focus on what truly mattered, deeply reflect on my situation, and formulate plans to create the life I desperately wanted for my family and myself.
The key lesson I learned was not to let emotions fuel the internal storms that cloud important decisions. Without realizing it at the time, I implemented what I now recognize as the T3 Four Fields of Growth. Today, I remain committed to these processes, engaging with them consistently in my daily life, helping me navigate any new internal storms that may arise.
The T3 Coaching Philosophy evolved from my own journey of transformation. I came to understand that sharing the stories of my internal storms, along with the tools I use to navigate them, could offer solace and guidance to others facing similar challenges.
Confronting personal turmoil in isolation can be overwhelming. For me, opening up to others was crucial. It allowed me to craft an exit strategy and secure support from those who genuinely cared about my well-being. The calming presence of family, friends, and colleagues was invaluable; without them, my internal storms might have raged indefinitely.
Taking decisive action to break free led me to a renewed life filled with purpose. Today, I’m energized and eager to assist those who feel their own internal storms, whatever they may be, are gathering strength and are ready to change their personal forecast.
The T3 approach offers tools and strategies to weather these storms effectively. It’s important to remember; just as in nature, your internal rainbow emerges only after you’ve quelled your internal storm. T3’s Coaching Philosophy empowers individuals to not just endure, but to grow through their challenges, ultimately revealing the vibrant possibilities which lie beyond the turbulence.
