Is Coaching a Type of Therapy?
Life Coaching is not classified as traditional therapy. Therapy generally focuses on working through past issues and trauma, while Life Coaching creates focus on the present and the future. That’s not to say the past is not explored or visited, it is however NOT the focus. Coaches may help you identify when a professional therapy approach may be warranted.
